Azurion 7

Dual projection expert class angiographic system
Azurion B20/15
Azurion 7 B20/15 LN

Complex system for performing invasive neurological examinations, as well as complex invasive examinations of the heart and blood vessels

Description

Main advantages

  • Unique ceiling-mounted double sidelong arm allows scanning in all required projections
  • Optimized room usage with procedure-based workflow
  • Superior image quality for accurate evaluation of small objects and vessels
  • Intuitive controls make the system easy and convenient to operate
  • An innovative approach to invasive neurological research

The real-time direct vision feature contributes to the safety, efficiency and reproducibility of treatment procedures, delivering clinical value where it is needed most — in patient care. Intelligent and intuitive integration of real-time imaging, patient data, and related procedure applications optimizes real-time procedure control.

The Philips Azurion 7 B20/15 LN System expands your diagnostic and treatment capabilities and gives you more control over device installation for invasive neurological exams. It can also be used for invasive cardiac/heart and vascular studies. This innovative solution is designed using a single, standardized hardware and software framework that can be updated and expanded as new needs or requirements change. The system architecture is designed to facilitate integration with third party applications and devices. The new workflow allows clinicians to perform more procedures with consistent quality and efficiency while maintaining ease of use of the system.

The Philips Azurion 7 B20/15 LN uses a variety of ProcedureCard protocols to streamline and standardize the system setup process, depending on the exams being performed — from standard to complex.

ProcedureCard protocols increase study consistency by presets (eg, most used protocols, default protocols, and custom protocols) at the procedure, clinician, or department level. In addition, hospital checklists and/or protocols can be loaded into ProcedureCards protocols. This ensures consistency in invasive procedures and minimizes errors in preparation for them.

The Philips Azurion 7 B20/15 LN Interventional X-ray System delivers significant time savings by allowing clinicians to perform all intervention-related procedures without leaving the examination room and use multiple control room workstations when needed without interfering with each other. As a result, you can achieve increased system throughput and faster examinations.
For improved dose management, Philips’ Zero Dose Positioning feature is provided which allows you to move the stand and table to the ROI position shown in the last image held before starting data acquisition without using X-rays.

Technical characteristics
The Azurion 7 B20/15 dual plane cardiovascularsystem is a combination of a floor-mounted C-arm, a two-section ceiling-mounted C-arm, and a digital x-ray system for diagnosing heart and vascular diseases and performing invasive procedures.
At the core of the Azurion 7 B20/15 system is the concept of integrating all modules into one master system. The system includes five main functional units:
1 Geometry
2 X-ray generation
3 Image detection
4 User interface
