CVX-300®
Philips EXCIMER LASER SYSTEM

The CVX-300 is an excimer laser system approved for use in minimally invasive interventional procedures on the cardiovascular system, as well as for removing problematic pacemaker and defibrillator wires. The CVX‑300 creates pulsed excimer radiation that is delivered to the target site using proprietary fiberoptic catheter technology.

CVX-300® areas of use
Procedures for removing electrodes from pacemakers, implanted cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), cardioresynchronizing devices.
The GlideLightTM Laser Sheath catheter is used to remove implanted electrodes of pacemakers, ICDs, cardioresynchronizing devices.

Peripheral vascular procedures:

  • Treatment of infrainguinal (ultradistal) stenosis and occlusion of the arterial bed
  • Critical limb ischemia
  • Total occlusions (step by step technology)

Coronary vascular procedures:

  • Moderately calcific stenosis
  • Bypass vein occlusions
  • Long-term diffuse diseases
  • Restenosis in 316L stainless steel stents, prior to intravascular brachytherapy
  • Lesions that have previously failed PTCA (Angioplasty)
  • Balloon-refractory and balloon-resistant lesions
